Meet Our Expert Team

Dr. Jade K. Kim was born in South Korea and came to the United States to study abroad in 1991. Although she originally planned to be a chemist, her interest in the healthcare field led her to become a dentist. She lives in Seattle. Dr. Kim feels that balance is important in life. When she can find the time, she enjoys doing yoga and making sourdough bread.

Dr. Mateo was born in Vancouver BC Canada and raised in Seattle. He attended the University of Washington where he earned a degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. He then continued his education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, obtaining his Dental doctoral degree. Dr. Mateo enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, going to sporting events with his family: wife and new baby girl, and listening to live music.

Michelle joined our team in 2007 and is a graduate from the Dental Hygiene program at Shoreline Community College. She enjoyed growing up as a patient at this office and is thrilled to be back as part of our team! Outside of work you might find her at a concert, a sporting event, in the kitchen baking or spending time with her four kids.

Maria, a Seattle native, joined our hygiene team in February 2016. She graduated from the University of Washington and from the Dental Hygiene program at Shoreline Community College. Outside of work, she enjoys making pizza and exploring the outdoors with her husband, son and twin daughters.

Regina joined our team in December of 2023, after making the move from South New Jersey where she was born and raised. Outside of work she loves to read, and hike.

Shaylene joined our office late Summer of 2015. Shaylene was born and raised Lynnwood, WA. Besides being one of our dental assistants she is also a licensed Cosmetologist. Shaylene loves to spend time outdoors such as camping, fishing, and traveling with her husband and son.
